Tenerife holidays are available all year round

If you are chained to a desk five days a week, you most certainly look forward to the time when the boss sets you free and allows you to escape into the big wide world for a while. It's call an annual vacation; and most people get away from it all by leaving home and setting off in search of the sun. You can always rely on Asia for the heat - it does have its fair share of rain though - and for those that have never been there, there are many countries to explore. There is a website dedicated to the region - have a look and see if it interests you.

Should you live in the UK and be taking your break in during the winter months, Tenerife holidays may just hold the answer. Located off the west coast of Africa, this island is Spanish owned; and due its location is sunny all year round. You can rule out other European countries at this time of year, as the weather is unpredictable and not particularly suitable for lounging around on the beach or swimming. You may be surprised to learn that many popular holiday destinations literally pull down the shutters and close until the high season comes around again. So go on a cheap break there and you may well find yourself on your own. The Canaries (the collective name for the group of Spanish islands) on the other hand, is open for business 24/7. It's your choice.
